Saint-Gobain Named As A Top Employer 2022
Our parent company, Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland, has been certified as a Top Employer – for the tenth consecutive year.
In addition, Saint-Gobain Group has again been awarded global Top Employer status for the 7th consecutive year, something only 11 businesses across the world have been awarded with this year – a truly wonderful achievement.
The accolade, awarded annually by the Top Employers Institute, recognises employers who have implemented policies and practices that have had a positive impact on their employees and the business. Learning and development opportunities, career and succession, working conditions and the overall culture of the organisation are all independently audited during the annual process.
The Pasquill team has made it possible to build an unrivalled national network of design and manufacturing sites and is what will continue to drive us forward year after year.
Despite the additional challenges faced in the last year with Covid-19, whether our employees have been working from home, or on our sites, everyone has continued to produce fantastic industry leading work.
We recognise that a good employee programme promotes great employee work and loyalty. Employee views matter, which is why we regularly run pulse surveys to stay abreast of colleague opinions and feelings, from which we then implement an action plan.
As part of this year’s continued commitment to employee welfare we introduced a mental health training programme in Pasquill and within our group division Off-Site Solutions. Our aim is to create a culture of openness and honesty, to help us tackle the stigma of mental health.
We’ve provided tips for maintaining a good mental wellbeing during lockdown and introduced virtual tools to assist our technical sales team in this ever-changing world. We’ve also welcomed new starters, promoted colleagues into new roles and celebrated life events including the arrivals of new family members.
