Pasquill Launches Helping Hands Charity Scheme
Pasquill, the UK’s largest manufacturer and supplier of roof trusses, has launched a new charity initiative – Helping Hands, to support charities and worthy causes across its branch network.
Pasquill will be donating towards staff fundraising activities and matching funds raised by its staff throughout the year. At the recent Pasquill Conference, colleagues raised £250 and Pasquill matched this penny for penny, providing an overall donation of £500 for Barnardo’s.
Many more fundraising events will be taking place throughout the year. In addition to fundraising, under the Helping Hands initiative, Pasquill will also be supporting employment, training and skills services, through work placements, apprenticeships and mentoring opportunities.
Ross Baxter, MD of Pasquill and International Timber commented: “I am very excited about our Helping Hands initiative, which supports local charities and other worth causes across the UK.”
Some of the fundraising events taking place across Pasquill sites and offices throughout the U.K. include Easter egg hunts, bake-offs and fancy dress. Keep an eye on the Twitter channel @Pasquill_UK for regular event information and updates.
