Pasquill shortlisted in this year’s TRA Roofscape Awards
We’re delighted to announce that two of our projects have been shortlisted in this year’s TRA Roofscape Awards.
Dalnarrow Cottage on the Isle of Lismore, located off the west coast of Scotland, required a unique curved truss solution for a living room within a wider conversion project. Designer Eve MacDonald from our Uddingston office worked closely with the customers to create this pre-fabricated truss which removed the need for on-site framing, significantly reducing time and on-site work. Dalnarrow Cottage has been shortlisted in the Conversion and Refurbishment category – congratulations Eve and the Uddingston team.
Tigh Dubh is a three-bedroom, one-and-a-half story building on the Isle of Tiree, the most westerly island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. The project required a curved topped attic truss to fit the T-shaped building, a complex design with multiple overlapping roof features. Design Office Manager Allan MacDonald from our Inverness site worked alongside the customer to create a solution which not only worked for the home, but also for better transportation to the remote island. Tigh Dubh has been shortlisted in the Residential category – well done Allan and the Inverness team.
Both of these projects demonstrate our team’s ability to work with complex roofing structures that are needed in remote areas. At Pasquill, are designers are ready to tackle even the most complex projects.
Congratulations to all nominated, and we keep our fingers crossed for the ceremony on 23rd April.
