Driving the future of digital construction and sustainability

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do as Pasquill, which is why our partnership with MiTek is so beneficial for our customers. As the leader in software solutions for the structural engineered timber sector, MiTek has formed a lasting partnership with our team since we worked together on our first project.

MiTek is a global company that specialises in providing software services, engineered products and automated solutions for the construction industry. Its industry-leading Roof Truss and Posi-Joist design software, PAMIR, allows us to share 3D versions of our designs with customers.

This platform is a powerful package that combines layout, engineering, output and 3D tools into a single fully integrated application. This replaces what were traditionally separate programmes with one, making life easier for our customers.

Working with MiTek has helped us to enhance our capabilities throughout the entire project cycle – from design to the off-site manufacture and installation of prefabricated trusses, rafters and floor joists.

Through our partnership, we have been able to grow our business and take advantage of new technologies and methods to give our customers the best possible experience. Our special relationship is based on years of experience, with many people at MiTek having worked with Pasquill colleagues for decades!

This means they know and understand our business and our customers, and can help offer the best advice and support throughout our design process.

Passionate about people

Our collaboration also enables us to acquire qualified talent, including an 18-strong design team based in Vietnam. Pasquill and MiTek also share the same values and are both strong supporters of the Trussed Rafter Association’s Designer Development Programme, which was spearheaded by MiTek’s UK Managing Director.

Thanks to using advanced digital designs, off-site technology, and efficient delivery, we’re all able to seek a more sustainable future. Our partnership with MiTek is an important part of this vision, helping us to find solutions that ease the UK housing crisis without harming the environment or our domestic manufacturing industry.

We were delighted to take part in MiTek’s Aspire series, which looks at the unique success stories of industry-leading organisations and how, with MiTek’s support and ongoing investment in MMC systems, automation and software, there really are no limits to what can be achieved together. Our Design and Sales Director, Chris Powell invited the MiTek team to tour our flagship manufacturing site at Redhill and spoke to them about how the design software helps us to stay at the top of our game.
