The Team at Dundee Design Centre
The team at Dundee Design Centre currently consists of the following:
Ian Haig, Senior Designer. Ian began his career in truss designing in 1999 at the age of 16 as a trainee designer with a competitor. Now with a total of 20 years’ experience within the industry he has worked for one other truss company and a timber frame company before beginning his 18 years’ service with Pasquill in 2003 and progressing to Senior Designer in 2009.
Paul Doherty, Design Office Manager. Paul has been designing roof trusses with Pasquill since 2005 and after joining only a couple of years after the plant opened is part of the original design team that built up to what we have now. Throughout the past 16 years, Paul has gained a wealth of experience in the engineered timber sector and looked after some of the biggest accounts that have dealt with our Uddingston team including national housebuilders. Since January 2021 Paul has taken on the role of leading the Uddingston and Dundee design teams.

Roof Truss Projects in Dundee
Ian Haig in the Dundee design office has been dealing with MacLeod Construction for a number of years and has recently been working on a large development project in Dunbeg. As part of this and to support the local community we were able to donate some roof materials to help the cause. Children at a primary school in Argyll and Bute can enjoy lessons in the great outdoors after Dundee’s design team from Pasquill donated materials for a new gazebo on the school grounds.
