Chorley Site Multi-Million Pound Redevelopment Project
In 2018, Pasquill received approval for the first part of the multi-million pound redevelopment at its site in Chorley. Pasquill, one of the largest truss manufacturers in the UK, began phase one of the project in November 2018.
The redevelopment of the site is planned in four phases and scheduled to be completed in 2020. The redevelopment involves infrastructure works and installation of new equipment.
The first phase, currently underway, consists of new roofing, wall cladding and floors to two existing buildings.
Planned phases of the redevelopment project
Phase 1: Refurbishment of the Cassette and Spandrel Production Buildings including new Crane systems, refurbishment and relocation of existing equipment. The Operations welfare facilities will also be redeveloped as part of Phase 1.
Phase 2: Refurbishment of the Mill Building and Site Resurfacing, including a new Centralised Compressor System, Sheet Material Storage. Site Security upgrades & CCTV installations will also take place during this phase.
Phase 3: Refurbishment and redesign of the existing Truss Plant – Including investment in new Truss production equipment – Pedestal and Bed Press systems, Lasers and Cranes.
Phase 4: New Offices plus further investment in production equipment to run alongside our continued growth in Off-Site Manufactured Solutions.
